FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine, namely to traumatology. In order to predict development of chronic post-trauma osteomyelitis of long bones of extremities, index of lymphocyte-platelet adhesion (LPA) is determined. Additionally registered is index of microcirculation (IM) of injured and healthy extremities. Relative values of LPA and IM are calculated and coefficient (K) is calculated by formula K=I1+I2, where I1 is relative index of patiewnt's LPA in comparison with LPA value in healthy people; I2 is relative IM of injured extremity in comparison with index of healthy extremity. If coefficient value is lower than 1.0, development of chronic post-trauma osteomyelitis is predicted.
EFFECT: method increases accuracy of predicting development of chronic post-trauma osteomyelitis of long bones of extremities.
