FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine, namely to traumatology. Restoration of radial bone length is performed by application on forearm and hand of monolateral rod apparatus of external fixation. Single-step distraction of peripheral fragments is carried out. Surgical access is performed. Reposition of fragments by their pressing out of metaepiphyseal zone of radial bone and occlusion to joint surface of proximal line of hand bones is carried out. Replacement of bone defect with transplant is performed. Sampling of transplant in form of spongy substance is carried out from styloid process of radial bone. Transplant is transferred and pressed into zone of bone defect providing possibility of restoring and strengthening joint surface of radial bone. Fixation of fragments is performed by means of plate with angle stability. Formed defect of styloid process after transplant sampling is filled with bone-substituting preparation.

EFFECT: method insures restoration of joint surface integrity, length of radial bone and its biomechanical parameters, reduction of treatment terms.
