FIELD: medicine; medical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: method involves setting bone fragments, applying compression-distraction apparatus with radial bone and hand articulation being fixed. Fracture zone hydrotreated by introducing Novocain solution mixed with demineralized bone matrix and primary clavus osteoperforation is done before reposition to prevent hand articulation from contracture taking place. Device has supporting member, special-purpose fixing members, wire bundles and fixing nuts. The supporting member has proximal and removable distal parts manufactured as treaded rods connected to each other by means of connection member having casing and threaded axial canal for receiving a treaded rod and canal for receiving wires. Free ends on threaded rods have slots. The special-purpose fixing members are polyhedrons having through canals for receiving wires disposed in polyhedron on both axial canal sides, axial smooth canals and hold-down screw for fixing wires in the canals.

EFFECT: reduced risk of traumatic complications; accelerated treatment course.
