FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: weld trimmer for metal bars (1) gas-cutted into measured pieces using planing tools (7). Planning tools are installed in holding device (6) able to move each of them the transverse direction relative to the metal bar (1). The device comprises a drive for connection of relative feed movement to planning tools (7) relative to cut metal bar (1). Ring fastening device (6) comprises at least two sets of planing tools (7). Sets of planing tools are sequentially arranged one behind the other in the longitudinal direction of the cut metal bar (1) able to move radially relative to the cut metal bar (1). The sets of planing tools are offset at interval relative to each other.
EFFECT: favourable structural conditions for weld trimming off a metal bar of circular cross-section gas-cutted into measured pieces.
