FIELD: transport.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mounting tubular shells, particularly thermosetting shells on moving objects. Tubular shells are cut from continuous shell passing through forming device that opens said shell upstream and downstream of cutting devices. Forming device has central axle and is maintained in floating state between first outer wheels and supports wheels with parallel axles fitted on said forming device. Second outer wheels are fitted downstream of cutting devices to push each cut segment onto product arranged vertically below forming device. When said product passes by pickup. Cutting device blade fitted on support arranged to turn about forming device. Sole or each blade can turn on said support staying in the plane perpendicular to forming device axis, opposite forming device groove, from idle into cutting position, and visa versa. In cutting position, said blade enters said groove. Turn from idle to cutting position is provided by cam system that exploits difference in rpm of two rotary rings that make the support of said blade. One of said rings represents cam section parallel to cutting plane and arranged inclined to allow cam to slide therein. Cam rotation is constricted by blade holder by means of pin parallel to common axis of rings and arranged to turn on the other ring and wherein every blade has free edge designed to puncture shell wall and cutting said wall by force directed radially outward.
