FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to elastomeric films laminated on non-elastomeric materials such as linen, where the resultant layered materials are elastomeric without mechanical activation, as well as a method of producing said materials. The elastomeric layered material contains a layer of elastomeric polymer film attached to one or more substrate layers. Composition of the elastomeric film, physical properties of the substrate and conditions for attachment are selected and controlled such that, the obtained material can be stretched and restored without mechanical activation after lamination.
EFFECT: production of elastomeric material using relatively simple high-speed equipment at low costs and endowing said material with improved physical properties.
