Proposed vehicle comprises electric power storage device, motor, device to receive electric power from electric power source, charging device, ICE heater and controller to control charging device. Method of control comprises defining availability of connection between electric heater and charging device, and controlling the latter. In control, power fed to heater enjoys higher priority than that used for charging power storage source heater electrically connected therewith.

EFFECT: reliable ICE starting at low ambient temperature.
