FIELD: packaging industry.

SUBSTANCE: seal assembly is designed to mount automatically to the lid of the container by moulding. Prior to moulding the seal is preliminary collected from the plastic screw sealing cap and the housing. The plastic housing of the seal is folding and sliding bevel sheeting leading inward to a thin part of the housing closed with diaphragm plate protected from unauthorised opening. The conical sheeting of the housing leads outward to the round presser flange of the housing and the cylindrical edge of the housing. Inside the radial cap brackets are located that protect the presser flange of the housing from deformation. After the seal assembly is placed into the casting form for lids of the container and is clamped in it, only edge of the housing of the seal is available for attachment to the lid of the container. The molten plastic enters the casting form cavity, and as a result a container lid is obtained. There are optional notches provided on the edge of the housing. During the moulding the supplied polymer contours the edge of the housing and gets into the upper notch of the edge and the lower notch of the edge, mechanically attaching the edge to the lid.

EFFECT: plastic or mechanical connection of the edge of the seal housing and the lid of the plastic container in combination with the diaphragm plate in the thin part of the seal housing prevents leaks and protects against unauthorised opening.
