FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to tube furnace for cracking, which is namely designed for obtaining ethylene, includes convection section and (or) double radiant section(s) at least with one single-pass radiant tube provided at least with one element intensifying the heat transfer. At least one element intensifying the heat transfer, which is mentioned above, is the first heat transfer intensifying element installed in radiant tube in the range of 10 D to 25 D upstream of extreme metal heating point of the first pass of radiant tube, where D is inner diameter of radiant tube with heat transfer intensifying element.
EFFECT: optimum location of heat transfer intensifying elements in radiant tube allows achieving maximum increase in heat transfer for the specified number of heat transfer intensifying elements.
