FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for cracking crude oil and includes a step for feeding crude oil into a first group of pipes of a convection section of a cracking furnace for heating, and then carrying out evaporation to obtain a first gas phase and a first liquid phase; stage of high pressure extraction of first liquid phase to obtain non-asphalt oil and asphalt, where extraction under high pressure includes extraction treatment, optional treatment by settling separation and treatment for extraction of solvent, and where the extraction treatment is carried out in the presence of a solvent, where the solvent is selected from the group consisting of propane, butane, pentane, propylene and butene; a step of mixing the first gas phase and non-asphalt oil with steam, respectively, or mixing the first gas phase with non-asphalt oil before mixing with steam, then feeding them into the second group of pipes of the convection section of the cracking furnace for heating to the transition temperature, with subsequent supply to the radiation section of the cracking furnace for cracking to obtain a cracking product and separation of the cracking product to obtain low-carbon olefins. Invention also relates to a crude oil cracking system.

EFFECT: increased efficiency of crude oil cracking, improved yield of low-carbon olefins in the product, prolonged working cycle and reduced coking of the mixture of gasified crude oil during cracking.
