FIELD: electric engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to processing of production waste and used cables, mainly, armored cables, and may be used in construction to produce concrete or similar mixtures or at metallurgical plants in the process of ferrous or non-ferrous metals production. The method includes cable separation to current-conducting core in polymer braiding and steel wire cutting to wiring sections. In addition, the cable is separated by translational movement in combination with steel wire rotation around cable of translation movement of current-conducting cores. The operations of cable separation to current-conducting core in polymer braiding and steel wiring and steel wiring cutting into sections are carried out simultaneously by means of driven or non-driven disk or flat knifes. Wiring sections are then transported to guiding vibratory tray and bent by means of gear pair to produce reinforcement elements in the form of wave with hollows and projections.

EFFECT: improved quality of finished items and increased effectiveness of cable product wastes processing.
