METHOD TO RECEIVE RADIO SIGNALS FROM SOURCES OF RADIO RADIATIONS Russian patent published in 2012 - IPC H04B7/00

Abstract RU 2453995 C1

FIELD: radio engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to communications equipment, and more specifically - to methods to receive radio signals from radio radiation sources (RRS) located on objects, including mobile ones, with a surface six-point receiving system and may be used preferably for unambiguous measurement of space coordinates and other characteristics of RRS functionally related to their coordinates, in information control radio engineering systems of various purpose, also in navigation systems of aircrafts. At receiving stations moments of time are registered, when RRS radio signals are received, at the same time the phase centres of antennas are arranged in a certain manner. Space coordinates are determined by means of indirect measurement using the proposed simple expressions depending on measured differences between times of radio signals reception at points. In the method the most accurate RRS coordinates are selected in each point of space, which makes it possible to receive an exposure area close to a circular one from its realising systems and considerably increases the volume of this area.

EFFECT: higher accuracy of receiving radio signals from sources of radio radiations, in simultaneous service of several RRS.
