SUBSTANCE: system includes a ground-based receiving subsystem with six receiving stations, the phase centres of antennae of which are arranged in a certain manner, said subsystem having radio signal receivers connected to an information processing subsystem, having operably series-connected device for identifying a radio signal, device for recording at which a radio signal is received, device for measuring time difference Δt between time instants when radio signals are received from different stations, and the information processing subsystem has a computer which is configured to determine spatial coordinates using given simple expressions which depend on Δt. High accuracy is achieved also owing to the computer being able to select from the set of versions of coordinates of the object provided in the invention at each point in space having the best accuracy.
EFFECT: high efficiency of determining coordinates of corresponding radio systems, possibility of varying configuration of their coverage areas depending on the set task and relief features of the surrounding area.
