METHOD OF DETERMINING DISPLACEMENT OF PREGNANT UTERUS IN CASE OF SCOLIOSIS Russian patent published in 2012 - IPC A61B5/103

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine, namely to obstetrics and gynecology and is intended for application in diagnostics of displacement of pregnant uterus in women with scoliosis. Degree of displacement of pregnant uterus in case of scoliosis is determined by angle, formed between jugular incisure of sternum, the centre of the navel and medium part of upper edge of symphysis pubis. If the angle value is 179°-170°, I degree of displacement of pregnant uterus is diagnosed, if value of the angle is 169°-160° - II degree, if value of the angle is 159°-150° - III degree, if value of the angle is less than 150° - IV degree, and if value of the angle is 180°, there is no spine scoliosis and displacement of pregnant uterus.

EFFECT: method does not require financial expenditures, purchase of special instruments and makes it possible to determine degree of displacement of pregnant uterus during one minute; method doers not have any harmful effect on pregnant woman and developing fetus and makes it possible to predict irregularities of blood flow in uterine arteries and, therefore, prevent development of pathological process in pregnant woman.
