FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: claimed method of increasing milk productivity and milk quality of dairy cows includes genotyping foreign-bred Holstein cows using FGF21 gene with identification of animals with genotypes CC, TC and TT and inclusion of a synthetic antioxidant additive in the feeding ration of highly productive cows in the first period of lactation, predominantly with CC and TC "Bisphenol-5" genotypes (4,4'-bis(2,6-di-tert-butylphenol)) at a dose of 2 µmol per 1 kg of live weight or per 1 head 0.5 g per day during the first period of lactation.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to optimize physiological and biochemical processes in the body, reduce the negative impact of energy stress at the genetic level and ensures an increase in milk productivity of cows with CC and TC genotypes by 15.4–17.0% with high quality. The costs of metabolic energy and crude protein per unit of production are reduced by 13.2–14.5%, respectively.
