SUBSTANCE: invention refers to pharmaceutical industry, namely a method for preparing a storage-stable solution of pelargonium extract. The method for preparing storage-stable solutions of pelargonium extract consisting in the fact that the amount of oxygen at atmospheric pressure in an upper space of a package used to store the solution of pelargonium extract is decreased to max. 0.025 volume parts at a volume part of the solution with the content of proanthocyanidins and 2H-1-benzopyran-2-ones decreased to max. 10 wt % for each ingredient after 9 months of storage at 25°C and relative humidity 60% with the amount of oxygen decreased due to: fillings with inert gas and/or reducing a volume of the upper space and/or adding oxygen-removing agents.
EFFECT: method allows producing the storage-stable pelargonium solution.
