FIELD: materials science.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to polymer materials science, is a polymer composition based on polytetrafluoroethylene modified with UVIS-AK-P carbon fiber activated material in an amount of 5 wt. %, production technology of which consists in the stage-by-stage mixing of a filler with the polymer using the technology of mechanical activation in a planetary mill. UVIS-AK-P carbon fiber activated material is pre-mixed with a portion of the polymer in the planetary mill at a rotary speed of drums of 400 rpm for 2 minutes, followed by mixing the mixture with the rest of the polymer in a paddle mixer. Content of UVIS-AK-P carbon fiber material in the polymer composite material is 5 wt.%.
EFFECT: providing a composite material for tribological purposes with increased wear resistance without deterioration of the physicomechanical characteristics with some improvement in the deformation characteristics.
