FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to polymeric material science, namely to the development of polymeric composites for tribotechnical purposes, which can be used for manufacture of sliding bearings and other elements of friction units, operated under medium loads and sliding speeds. Polymer tribotechnical material containing polytetrafluoroethylene and fillers contains modified carbon fibers, mechanically activated vermiculite, ultradisperse polytetrafluoroethylene as fillers.
EFFECT: use of the present invention implemented on standard equipment will increase the wear resistance of the composite material while maintaining the deformation-strength characteristics of relatively unfilled PTFE and increase the service life of products in friction units of machines and equipment.
