FIELD: power industry.

SUBSTANCE: magnetocaloric refrigerator includes fixed magnetic system consisting of n magnets, and in-series connected single-type and interchangeable stages in quantity of 2n, where n - integral number equal to or higher than 1. Each stage includes heat carrier system with pump and its actuator, heat receiver, heat removal device, accumulator, heat carrier flow distributor, cells containing working medium from material with magnetocaloric effect, which are washed with heat carrier, and assembly of alternate introduction of cells to magnet working zone, which operates synchronously with heat carrier flow distributor. Stages are connected to each other by means of heat exchangers containing heat receiver of the previous stage and heat removal device of the next stage. All the components of heat carrier system are isolated from external medium and from each other, except heat removal device of the first stage.

EFFECT: invention allows improving operating efficiency of refrigerator and improving its performance and repairability.
