FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to internal combustion engines operating on hydrogen. Proposed internal combustion engine contains fuel, ignition, and lubrication systems, condenser, reservoir accommodating gang containing electrodes, pump, vacuum bottle with vacuum regulator and vacuum pumps. Engine consists of cast cylinder in walls of which longitudinal channels are made parallel to each other over perimeter of cylinder and series-connected by means of U-shaped channels found in cast end face covers through gaskets of screw joints. Cylinder accommodates rotating blades of rotor rigidly secured on shaft by means of drum. Blades divide cylinder into four chambers. Each chamber in cross section is made in form of triangle. Chambers are made for operation according to four-stroke cycle suction, compression, expansion and exhaust of steam; conversion of hydrogen and oxygen into heat of working medium; conversion of heat of working medium into mechanical energy; delivering of steam to turbine by means of pump. Suction chamber of cylinder is connected with reservoir of electrolyzer or water splitting device through gas lines. Cylinder accommodates microswitch connected with spark plug through ignition coil by electric circuit supplied by storage battery or generator. Lubrication system contains oil tank connected with oil line, oil seal, hollow shaft and radial channels. Engine and turbine are connected with electric generators to cover mechanical energy into electric energy.
EFFECT: simplified design, reduced weight and overall dimensions of engine, increased power output.
