FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: temperature sensor for heat carrier in a pipe has a heat insulator, a heat receiver having a heat-sensitive element, wherein the heat receiver with the heat-sensitive element lies on the surface of the pipe and is in thermal contact with said pipe, wherein the heat insulator covers the heat receiver. Between the pipe and the heat insulator in the zone of the heat receiver, there is a heat-protection element made from heat-conducting material. The heat receiver with the heat-sensitive element is placed in an arched chamber which is formed in the heat-protection element with a gap from its walls; additional insulation or gas medium with pressure equal to or less than atmospheric pressure can be placed in the gap between the heat receiver and the walls of the chamber formed in the heat-protection element. The heat-sensitive element used can be a piezocrystalline quartz resonator or a resistance thermometer or a thermistor.
EFFECT: high accuracy of measuring temperature of heat carrier in a pipe.
