FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention is meant for individual protection of radar systems for detecting aerial targets and controlling ground-to-air weapons in conditions where the enemy is using Precision Location Strike System (PLSS) reconnaissance-strike complexes, differential-range finding signals-intelligence system and a command system for guided weapons based on reconnaissance data. The disclosed radar comprises series-connected driving oscillator, clock, pulse modulator, first delay line, first power amplifier whose second input is connected to the output of the driving oscillator, a receive/transmit antenna, a receiver whose second input is connected to the driving oscillator and the third input to the output of the clock. The second output of the pulse modulator is connected to series-connected first pulse former, second power amplifier whose second input is connected to the output of the driving oscillator, and a first transmitting antenna, as well as series-connected second delay line, second pulse former, third power amplifier whose second input is connected to the output of the driving oscillator, and a second transmitting antenna.
EFFECT: generation of a series of additional pulses with time mismatch of leading edges of not less than 0,25 mcs reduces the probability of the coherent-pulse radar being struck by the reconnaissance-strike complex of the enemy.
