FIELD: information technology.
SUBSTANCE: method of analysing graphic data, consisting of an array of separate pixels, wherein each pixel has a time-varying pixel value bearing information on pixel colour or brightness, comprises steps for obtaining a priority value for each pixel of the array by defining the used pixel as the base pixel and calculating the difference between pixel values based on the current value of the base pixel with respect to current values of a predetermined group of neighbouring pixels; pixels used to calculate the pixel priority value are merged into a single group; pixel groups are sorted based on the priority value of the corresponding base pixel and stored in an array of priorities; pixel groups are stored and/or transmitted according to their priorities in the array of priorities, wherein to optimise computational power for creating lists, only part of pixel groups is used, characterised by that a position factor is added to the priority value, said position factor being higher as the pixel group lies closer to the predetermined pixel group depending on the language of the initial pixel.
EFFECT: high reliability and speed of recognising symbols requiring low computational power.
