FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to agriculture, in particular, to a technology of planting seedlings, for example of a willow into marshy soil. The method to plant seedlings includes preparation of seedlings, preparation of soil for planting and plating a seedling into a marshy soil via a through hole arranged in ice during autumn-winter period. Then the willow seedling is fixed on a water reservoir bottom with the help of a peg inserted into the bottom. A rigid demountable element of tubular shape made in the form of a hollow cylinder or a hollow truncated cone with its top upwards is installed onto the seedling shaft to prevent its damage. Between the seedling shaft and the demountable element there is a space filled for better establishment of a seedling with fill material: soil or sand, or sawdust, or soil from the water reservoir bottom to the height exceeding the maximum level of water rise in this area by 5.0-20.0 cm.

EFFECT: invention provides for planting willow seedlings into marshy soil, their proper establishment and possibility to use marshy soil to plant plants.
