METHOD OF EARLY DIAGNOSTICS OF UNDIFFERENTIATED CONNECTIVE TISSUE DYSPLASIA IN CHILDREN OF FIRST YEAR OF LIFE Russian patent published in 2012 - IPC A61B5/00

Abstract RU 2454922 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine, namely to pediatrics. In children of first year of life the most informative parameters are determined: diseases associated with early diagnostics of undifferentiated connective tissue dysplasia (UCTD) in mother and father's relatives, in child's parents, presence of harmful habits in mother, nature of delivery, presence of phenotypic features of UCTD in child: epicanthus and/or hypertelopism of eyes, hyperextensibility of skin, hernias and weakness of abdominal muscles, joint hypermobility, parameters are evaluated in points. Presence of sign is evaluated as 1 point, absence - as 0 points; diagnostic index S is calculated by formula: S=0.44 P1+0.33 P2+0.59 P3+0.49 P4-0.12 P5+0.02 P6+0.37 P7+0.08 P8+3.2 P9+0.73 P10+0.77 P11-2.33, where P1 is presence of diseases associated with presence of UCTD in mother's relatives; P2 - presence of diseases associated with presence of UCTD in father's relatives; P3 - presence of diseases associated with presence of UCTD in mother herself; P4 - presence of diseases associated with presence of UCTD in father herself; P5 - father and mother are healthy; P6 - presence of harmful habits in mother; P7 - operative delivery caused by weakness or discoordination of labour activity; P8 - presence of epicanthus and/or hypertelorism of eyes in child; P9 - hyperextensibility of patient's skin; P10 - hernias: umbilical and of white line and weakness of child's abdominal muscles; P11 - hypermobility of child's joints; Constant=-2.33, and if S is larger than 0 - UCTD is diagnosed, and if S is lower than 0, conclusion about its absence is made.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to diagnose presence of UCTD from first months of life in case of absence of expressed clinical symptoms and in early terms prescribe individual program of rehabilitation.
