FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely pulmonology and clinical immunology. It involves the infrared laser (IRL) exposure of total surface power density 0.5-1.0 J/cm2 on projections of bronchi and associated lymphoid tissue in symmetrical clavicular, paravertebral and interscapular regions. Length of exposure is 6-12 minutes per 1 procedure. The therapeutic course is 7-12 daily procedures.
EFFECT: method provides the greater AM count in the tracheobronchial secretion, the improved qualitative morphofunctional properties of these cells of the local macrophage protection systems that in turn enables reducing length of treatment, volume of the used therapeutic agents, number of aggravations and recurrences and prolonged period of remission.
