FIELD: gas-liquid streams separation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a technique for separating gas-liquid streams and can be used in various industries, such as gas processing. The centrifugal separation element contains a shell with a separated liquid trap and a swirler. Wherein a cylindrical hollow body is placed coaxially inside the shell, the first end of which is made sealed and protrudes above the trap of the separated liquid, and the second end is made in the form of a nozzle and is located above the swirler. The protruding end part of the hollow body is equipped with gas inlet pipes, a baffle is located under the second end face. A rotary nozzle is used as a nozzle, and the cross-section of the baffle follows the profile of the outlet of the rotary nozzle.
EFFECT: invention increases efficiency of separating liquid from gas and reducing hydraulic resistance.
