METHOD TO PUT SMALL ARMS IN CONDITION OF TOTAL INOPERABILITY (VERSIONS) AND MOBILE MODULAR COMPLEX FOR ITS REALISATION Russian patent published in 2012 - IPC B26F3/00

Abstract RU 2455151 C1

FIELD: weapons and ammunition.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to military equipment and is designed to destroy small arms. The process of small arms destruction according to the first version of the invention is carried out by small arms pressing between rolls of a single-roll rolling mill. In the second version small arms are previously exposed to partial disassembly into elements, which are separated into two groups. The elements of the first group are exposed to pressing between rolls of a single-stand rolling mill, and elements of the second group are exposed to cutting until they are totally inoperable. In the third version after preliminary partial disassembly of small arms its elements are divided into three groups. The elements of the first group are exposed to pressing between rolls of a single-stand rolling mill, the elements of the second group are exposed to cutting until they are totally inoperable, and the element of the third group are exposed to damage in press until chips appear. In order to implement the listed versions of small arms damage, a mobile modular complex is used, comprising a single-stand rolling mill, a combined shearing press and shears for cutting installed on a separate platform equipped with wheels and outriggers.

EFFECT: invention provides for highly efficient and safe recycling of small arms in places of its storage.
