FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: method involves exposure of the substrate in chloride melts containing from 0.5 to 10% of the chlorides of lead and zinc from 0.5 to 20 minutes at a temperature above the melting temperature of lead and zinc, and at the same time below the melting temperature of aluminium.
EFFECT: method allows to deposit a bicomponent lead-zinc coating upon aluminium products.
