SUBSTANCE: in addition, subscriber heat supply systems of apartment buildings are equipped with cold running water pipeline and water-to-water heat exchanger connected as to heating medium to return water pipeline, and as to heated medium to cold running water pipeline; its outlet is connected by means of heated running water pipeline to the main water supply valves of hot water supply system.

EFFECT: temperature of return delivery water is decreased due to heating of cold running water in water-to-water heat exchanger; electrical energy use efficiency is increased; make-up water flow is reduced, as well as the possibility of connecting additional heat supply systems of buildings to the heating network at maintaining the make-up water flow appears.
