FIELD: power industry.
SUBSTANCE: device (100) includes plenum chamber (11) having nozzles (12a1 12a2…) or nozzle slot (12), through which the flow of fresh plenum air leaves plenum chamber (11) in forced manner; at that, flow (J1) will create circulating air flow for escaping from room (H) through heat exchanger (10). Circulating air flow (J2) is connected to plenum air flow (L1); at that, total air flow (J1+J2) for escaping from the device is formed. Heat exchanger (10a1, 10a2; 10) is used in device (100) either for cooling, or for heating of circulating air flow (J2). Passive radiator can be used as room air handling device (100), which can be fixed near the ceiling space of room (H) so that heated air is cooled by means of heat exchanger (10) of passive radiator (100) because it moves upwards in the room space reaching heat exchanger (10), from which it will move downwards after cooling to the working zone of room (H) space. In compliance with this invention, heat exchanger (10, 10a1, 10a2) has modular design which includes several different heat exchanger modules (14a1 14a2, 14a3, 14a4, 14a5) which can be connected to each other in order to form the heat exchanger design and design of the device of the required length.
