SUBSTANCE: device includes a housing with a first inlet for feeding of material and the first outlet for removing the waste gas, the first electrode is provided in the housing as an anode and the second electrode as a cathode for electric heating of the material located in the building as well as an outlet for the extraction of molten metal or metal compound and the overflow drain hole for slag discharge. A hole for feeding of the slag is provided, through which the slag which can be fed into the interior of the body, as well as an opening for feeding a reducing agent. The material is injected into the device and is melted there with introduction of electrical energy through electrical resistance heating or heating with an electric arc.
EFFECT: invention improves recovery rate of metal or metal compound from the slag and solid phases of melting of nonferrous metals and alloys, as well as from the solids with a low content of base metal.
