FIELD: radio engineering.

SUBSTANCE: pseudopilot signals are generated which signals include PN-phase shifts corresponding to multiple pseudobase stations where pseudobase stations are multiple (1) virtual base stations and/or (2) physical base stations out of receiving range of mobile device. Pseudopilot signals are combined with communication signals from physical base station to form sequence of composite signals. The composite signals are transmitted to be received by mobile device and are used to locate mobile device.

EFFECT: providing possibility to perform locating in places with distorted or weakened signal receive, higher accuracy of location.
