SUBSTANCE: connector contains multiple recesses 18 formed on the surface of the wire barrel 16 wherein the electric wire 11 is positioned. Before the electric wire 11 is crimped in the wire barrel 16 at least one of the sides containing the cutout edges of each rectangular recess 18 represents a transversal side 19 intersecting with extension direction at the angle of 85° - 95°. Before the electric wire 11 is crimped in the wire barrel 16 the transversal sides 19 of the multiple recesses 18 positioned next to each other in the extension direction are positioned as overlapped relative to each other in the extension direction.
EFFECT: reduced contact resistance with the electric wire and decreased cost of the press mould manufacture.
