SUBSTANCE: this invention proposes tight terminator for super conducting cable. Proposed terminator allows electric power passing through its normal-temperature side and that with cryogenic temperature. On the latter, the end of super conducting cable is located. Tight terminator comprises coolant vessel arranged on the cryogenic temperature side to cool the terminator. Coolant vessel has a liquid coolant area and a gaseous coolant area filled with gaseous agent. The former features coolant vessel compression compensation section.
EFFECT: improved tightening properties.
