FIELD: radio engineering.

SUBSTANCE: ring CMOS voltage controlled oscillator (VCO) contains N differential inverters with two inputs and two outputs, connected in such a way that negative direct current feedback in the ring is provided; each differential inverter contains two active inverting n-channel transistors, three p-channel transistors on the gates of which one principal and two minor control voltages are applied. Minor voltages are generated from the principal voltage by means of two additional circuits consisting of pair of p-channel and pair of n-channel transistors.

EFFECT: higher linearity of modulation lasing, extension of bandwidth with four times frequency overlapping.
