SUBSTANCE: method for metre readings remote reading according to which radiowave communication network is used. In this process, a network includes modules (40-44) connected with metres from which readings are read remotely, computer (48) and hubs (45, 46). As per the invention, radio communications between modules (40-44) and hubs (45, 46) take place in UHF frequency range, while radio communications between hubs (45, 46, 47) are performed in VHF frequency range. In the preferred version, radio communications between intermediate hubs themselves (45, 46) and between intermediate hubs (45, 46) and the main hub (47) are performed on a frequency close or equal to 169 MHz, and radio communications between modules (40-44) and intermediate hubs (45, 46) are performed on a frequency close or equal to 433 or 868 MHz.
EFFECT: realisation of permanent network which makes possible to perform readings remote reading with long radius of action by using low-power modules.
