FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture, namely, to beekeeping. The proposed trap for bees, fixed to a tree, comprises a housing with a hive entrance block, frames, a step and a lid. The housing is made with its height greater by 10 - 25% than the height of frames contained within it, with formation of an additional volume in the lower part of the trap. This additional volume is made to contain bees of strong swarm. At the bottom of the trap at least one support of a step form is mounted to ensure filling the frames with bees.

EFFECT: invention provides location in the trap of all the bees of the strong swarm come flying.
