FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely otorhinolaryngology. The used device for drug delivery in a middle nasal passage comprises a nasal tip introduced in a patient's nostril, and a nozzle through which the substance when in use is supplied in a related nasal cavity, a supply element for substance supply through the tip nozzle. The nasal tip is configured so that to pass into a nasal valve to be introduced when introduced in the nasal cavity. A method for substance delivery into the middle nasal passage when treating an inflammatory or infectious condition involves the following stages of using said device. An element of the nasal tip is placed in one patient's nostril. Thereafter the substance is supplied through the nozzle in the form of at least one fluid jet or aerosol spraying. It has one cone angle no more than approximately 50 degrees. Thereby, at least 50% of the dose pre-deposited in the nasal airways, deposited in the nasal cavity which is found behind the nasal valve. And at least 30% of the dose, pre-deposited in the nasal cavity, deposited in the nasal cavity, is deposited in an upper back portion of the nasal cavity which is found behind the nasal valve and above a lower nasal passage.

EFFECT: using said group of inventions enables performing drug delivery into the back portion of the nasal airways, improving drug supply directly into the middle nasal passage, and aims at treating inflammatory and infectious diseases related to the nasal cavity, particularly acute and chronic rhinosinusitis, polyposis, allergic and non-allergic diseases, cold, etc.
