FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to worm centrifuges. Proposed centrifuge comprises horizontal rotor with cylinder, worm arranged in said cylinder to rotate at rpm other than that of cylinder, bearings for cylinder to run therein and springs to cushion the latter on bed. At least two springs are arranged on cylinders ends to support it. Springs are arranged vertically or, in fact, vertically. Rotor or cylinder length-to-diameter ratio exceeds, preferably, 2, more preferably, 2.5, and, in particular, 3. Springs cushioning the cylinder on bed work in contraction in direction other than radial.
EFFECT: efficient cushioning.
