FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method relates to machining ductile materials and comprises fitting workpiece and verifying its position and that of tool, directing workpiece lengthwise axis and tool front surface in the plane of coordinate axes X and Y.In machining, workpiece and/or tool is displaced along two coordinate axes X and Y.Note here that allowance cutting edgewise procedure is used whereat cut width and profile equals width and profile on machined surface in cross-section.Note here that tool front surface retains constant arrangement relative to initial position. Planing is performed at the rate of 1m/min.
EFFECT: decreased roughness and higher surface quality.
