FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a method of producing (acetylacetonato-k2-O,O')(bis-acetonitrile)palladium tetrafluoroborate (where acac denotes acetyl acetonate, MeCN denotes acetonitrile). The method involves reaction of bis(acetylacetonato)palladium Pd(acac)2 with acetonitrile and a boron compound in the medium of an organic solvent at room temperature. The boron compound used is boron trifluoride etherate BF3·OEt2, the organic solvent used is aromatic solvents, specifically benzene or toluene.
EFFECT: invention increases output of (acetylacetonato-k2-O,O')(bis-acetonitrile)palladium tetrafluoroborate.
