FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing cationic complexes of palladium of general formula [(acac)Pd(L)]BF4, where acac denotes acetylacetonate, L denotes diimine ligands such as N,N'-bis(2,6-diisopropylphenyl)-2,3-butanediimine and N,N'-bis(2,6-dimethylphenyl)-2,3-butanediimine. The method involves reaction of a palladium complex with a ligand L in the medium of an organic solvent at room temperature in molar ratio L:Pd=1-1.33. The starting complex used is a palladium complex of formula [(acac)Pd(MeCN)2]BF4 (where MeCN denotes acetonitrile), and the organic solvent used is dichloromethane.
EFFECT: invention enables to obtain cationic complexes of palladium of the given formula in a single step.
