SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a novel method of producing cationic cyclopentadienyl complexes of palladium with mono- and bidentate phosphine ligands of compositions [CpPd(L)2]BF4 and [CpPd(L^L)]BF4. Method is carried out by reacting palladium (II) complexes with an anionic ligand elimination from the palladium (II) coordination sphere in the presence of cyclopentadiene at room temperature in an organic solvent medium. Starting palladium (II) complexes are acetylacetonate complexes [(acac)Pd(L)2]BF4 and [(acac)Pd(L^L)]BF4, and as an anionic ligand elimination from the palladium (II) coordination sphere, boron trifluoride etherate is used. Process is carried out in the presence of cyclopentadiene in a medium of dichloromethane, or methanol, or a mixture of dichloromethane and methanol. Said designations have the following meanings: acac—acetylacetonate; Cp is cyclopentadienyl; L—monodentate phosphine ligands, such as triphenylphosphine (PPh3), tris(o-methoxyphenyl)phosphine (TOMPP), tris(para-tolyl)phosphine (P(p-To1)3), tris(2-furyl)phosphine (TFP), tris(2-thienyl)phosphine (TTP), diphenyl(cyclohexyl)phosphine (P(Ph)2Cy); L^L—bidentate organophosphorus ligands, such as 1,3-bis(diphenylphosphino)propane (dppp), 1,4-bis(diphenylphosphino)butane (dppb), 1,5-bis(diphenylphosphino)pentane (dpppent), 1,6-bis(diphenylphosphino)hexane (dpphex) and 1,1'-bis(diphenylphosphino)ferrocene (dppf).
EFFECT: proposed method simplifies synthesis of cationic cyclopentadienyl complexes of palladium with mono- and bidentate phosphines, does not require use of thallium cyclopentadienyl and thallium and/or silver salts and eliminates an additional step of separating reaction products from thallium and/or silver halides.
