SUBSTANCE: here is disclosed an electromagnetic ultrasonic transducer and an array thereof. The electromagnetic ultrasonic transducer includes a support (8), an elastic board (6) lying on the support (8), a magnetiser (7) on the elastic board (6) and a magnetic field generator (1) for vibrating the magnetiser (7), wherein the magnetiser (7) is several microns thick. The thickness of the elastic board (6) is also of the order of microns.
EFFECT: obtaining high-frequency acoustic waves in order to use the device in ultrasonic therapy.
