FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: microwave heating apparatus includes a microwave generation section (5) having a plurality of output sections, a heating chamber (4) for accommodating the object to be heated, a plurality of feed sections (21a, 21b, 21c, 21d) providing outlets for the plurality of output sections into the heating chamber, and a control section (6) which controls microwave radiation from the plurality of feed sections in order to control distribution of electromagnetic waves in the heating chamber in which microwaves are concentrated on the object to be heated which is placed in the heating chamber.
EFFECT: high uniformity of distribution of electromagnetic field in the heating chamber and smaller size of the apparatus.
