FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a cooking device and to a control method. The device contains a cooking chamber to accommodate products that are to be cooked therein, a microwave heating module to emit microwaves into the cooking chamber, a convective heating module to supply ho air into the cooking chamber, a grill heating module for supply of emitted heat into the cooking chamber, a plate having a special coating and configured so that to be heated by means of microwaves, an input module to receive the user's roasting command and a control module. When the user's roasting command is put in, the control module performs the microwave heating stage whereat at least either of the convective heating and the grill heating modules and the microwave heating module are activated with a thin layer roasting stage is performed whereat the grill heating module and the convective heating module are activated without activation of the microwave heating module. The cooking device performs a roasting process with the help of microwaves, emitted heat and convective heat without immersion of the products to be used in oil.
EFFECT: invention simplifies cooking processes control.
