FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: device has microwave generator, wave duct for guiding generated electromagnetic waves to applicator, and deflector, formed by closed contour, determining plane, while aforementioned deflector has resonance frequency and thickness in direction, perpendicular to aforementioned plane, deflector can rotate around axis, which is at least substantially parallel to aforementioned plane, deflector is positioned in wave duct in a way to form resonator with sample and wave duct applicator. Resonance conditions of resonator and emission communication coefficient from wave duct to current resonator are easily adjusted using rotation of deflector. Resonance conditions and communication coefficient can be adjusted in accordance to dielectric properties of sample and are used to solve problem of optimization of consumed energy and thus realize process of controlling sample heating process.
EFFECT: higher efficiency.
