FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to ophthalmology and may be used for silicone introduction into the vitreal cavity of various viscosity levels. The irrigation system comprises a cannula for silicone introduction in the vitreal cavity, a sleeve and a silicone tube. The silicone tube connects the cannula and the sleeve. The tube is provided with an outside steel spiral and is 80 mm long. Within junctions of the tube with the sleeve and the cannula, the steel spiral is wound with turns touching. A length of a working part of the cannula is 7 mm or more. An internal diameter of the cannula, the tube and the sleeve makes 25 G.

EFFECT: use of the system requiring no suturing after the silicone introduction that eliminates all the related disadvantages, higher effectiveness of the surgical stage of the silicone introduction into the vitreal cavity ensured by smooth operation of the system and higher reliability of the manipulation, as well as enabled repeated multiple operations.
