METHOD OF INTRAOPERATIVE REGULATION OF INTRAOCULAR PRESSURE IN TREATMENT OF RETINA DETACHMENT Russian patent published in 2011 - IPC A61F9/07

Abstract RU 2432931 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to ophthalmology, and can be used in surgical treatment of retina detachments. In eye membranes three ports are installed. In first port installed is irrigation cannula, connected with three-channel adaptor, which with its other channel is connected with infusion system and can work in three modes: first - opening of channel, which connects adaptor with infusion system and channel, which connects adaptor with irrigation cannula, closing of channel for outflow of liquid from eye. Second mode - opening of channel, connecting adaptor with irrigation cannula and channel for outflow of liquid from eye, closing of channel, connecting adaptor with infusion system. Third mode - opening of channel, which connects adaptor with infusion system, closing of channel, which connects adaptor with irrigation cannula and channel for outflow of liquid from eye, adaptor during its installation is in first mode. Into other port introduced is vitreotom, and into third port - illuminator. Vitrectomy is performed. PFOC is introduced till complete filling of vitreal cavity. First mode is installed. Endolasercoagulation of retina is carried out. Third mode is installed. Infusion system is removed and instead of it to adaptor connected is syringe with silicon. First mode is installed and silicon is introduced. Ports are removed and operation is terminated without application of sutures.

EFFECT: method ensures stable normal level of intraocular pressure during entire period of surgery, reduces risk of postoperative complications, improves quality of surgical treatment of patients with retina detachment.
